Hi! I'm Steph Berry, the artist behind the drawings and paintings you'll see at Homeward Pine. I've been an art educator going on 12 years, as well as a mom to 2 small kiddos.
The name "homeward pine" comes from the inspiration I draw from my dad who passed away when I was 12. Growing up in Maine, my childhood revolved around the great outdoors, and lots and lots of art. Paying tribute to Maine's iconic pine tree, came the name "homeward pine".
I've always loved getting lost in an artwork, and when my clients receive their original work of art, I want them to truly feel like they could notice new details each time they look at it. My style is true to me: colorful and little whimsical. I love combining both watercolor and inks in my artworks to give it depth and interest.
I hope these artworks make you feel right at home: cozy, with a splash of whimsy.
